Nutritional & Functional Insights

The Lapacho bark extract brings on potent bioactive compounds – naphthoquinones and benzofurans, as well as a wide range of trace minerals. Some of these compounds have a long-standing reputation for antimicrobial, antiparasitic, and health-promoting activity (Lapacho is traditionally used in human medicine). In aquarium fish, this translates to an increased immune support, greater strength during disease, and a supportive diet during recovery.Lapacho Bark Extract: Rich in Bioactive Compounds and Trace Minerals. The 2% Lapacho bark extract contains naphthoquinone derivatives, benzofurans, and a wide range of mineral salts and trace elements, including calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, chromium, silicon, manganese, molybdenum, copper, potassium, sodium, cobalt, boron, etc.

Dietary Support During Treatment: Lapacho feed is also commonly suggested as nutritional assistance during parasite therapy (e.g., Spironucleus / once known as Hexamita), Hole-in-the-Head Syndrome (HITH / HLLS), or when fish are generally in poor health – to help build strength, maintain immunity, and aid in recovery.
