BASSLEER BIOFISH FOOD FUCO is a dedicated, premium ornamental fish food (freshwater and marine) that contains fucoidan, a bioactive polysaccharide produced by seaweed (in this case, kelp, such as Laminaria japonica), and is fortified with fucoidan at approximately 0.8 percent.

Nutritional & Functional Insight

Fucoidan is a sulfated polysaccharide found in some brown seaweeds (kelp). In aquaculture applications, fucoidan is a desired compound that supports immune function, supports recovery, and may promote faster recovery.
